Acacia wood is one of the hardest Czech woods ever. It is flexible and has a high density (around 780 kg/m3), which means a higher weight. But its most valuable feature is its extreme durability. It will not be affected by the vagaries of weather, water, wood-boring insects, fungi or rot. And it resists natural degradation. It is very suitable for knife making.If exposed to ammonia fumes, it darkens. Acacia cannot be stabilized!
