Leather of natural colour from water buffalo

The characteristic variable appearance of the cheek leather from this animal differs greatly from the cheek leather from European cattle. As the water buffalo lives freely in open pastures and fields and in wetlands, various traces of this mode of life are often found on its hide, i.e., various scars, scratches, insect punctures, or traces of alien insects, etc. The older and larger the animals, the more frequent and concentrated the occurrence of these natural marks.
