Uddeholm Vanadis 4 Extra SuperClean is the most versatile PM tool steel on the market today, combining high wear resistance with very good ductility and blade breakage resistance. The excellent machinability in both annealed and hardened condition provides advantages in edge refinishing after hardening and facilitates the removal of imperfections after grinding on the grinding wheel. The steel is not corrosion resistant, but is not easily subject to deep corrosion. The hardness of our hardened blades made of this steel reaches approx. 61 HRC.
