Mill to precisely seat the blade to the full tang knife design. It is used to mill precise holes into the knife's blade. The holes are first drilled into the scabbard and knife with a 5mm diameter drill bit (you can buy it here - D5.0 HSSCo drill bit). Then a cutter with a 5mm shank is used to drill a precise 7mm hole for the screw head. The cutter material is high speed steel and also drills all commonly used shank materials, including G10. The depth of the milled part of the shank is secured by a stop. If everything is done correctly, it is a very precise and tight connection between the cutter and the knife. If the milling depth stop is set correctly, it ensures a precise height mating of the cutter and the bolt.
