Top powder steel produced by powder metallurgy

Highly alloyed chromium martensitic steel produced by powder metallurgy from Bohler. It is characterized by incredible abrasion resistance and the blade on a knife made of this steel is a mark of luxury goods! When polished, it has a beautiful icy blue color and can be polished to a mirror finish. Vacuum quench and condition this steel to a hardness of around 63HRC. However, to sharpen this blade requires a diamond sharpener and experience at best.

Hardening: 1150C

Release: 2x2h- 540C

Achievable hardness: 58-62HRC
