Top powder steel produced by powder metallurgy

Corrosion resistant chromium martensitic, high alloy steel produced by powder metallurgy from Bohler. It is characterized by incredible abrasion resistance and the blade on a knife made of this steel is a mark of luxury goods! When polished, it has a beautiful icy blue color and can be polished to a mirror finish. Vacuum quench and condition this steel to a hardness of around 63HRC. However, to sharpen this blade requires a diamond sharpener and experience at best.

Recommended heat treatment:

Hardening: 1150C

Release: 2x2h- 540C

Achievable hardness: 58-62HRC
