Hardened flat steel N690

The steel is vacuum-hardened and tempered to a hardness of 60 HRC. It can be used immediately to make the blade, thereby shortening the knife’s production time, or they might just manage to make a ‘blowtorch’... Using pre-hardened steel also minimises the risk of deformation in the finished blade, thereby eliminating any need for straightening.

This steel is only suitable for owners of belt grinders and cannot be drilled with standard drill bits or machined with standard hand tools! It is extremely hard!
