Uddeholm Vanadis 4 Extra SuperClean is currently the most versatile PM tool steel on the market, combining high wear resistance with very good ductility and resistance to blade breakage. The excellent machinability in both annealed and hardened condition provides advantages in refinishing the edge after hardening and facilitates the removal of imperfections after grinding on the grinder. Steel is not corrosion resistant, however does not readily undergo deep corrosion. Hardness of our hardened blades made of this steel reaches about 62 HRC.
