3M™ Cubitron™ II 984F is manufactured using revolutionary precision grain technology

Cut grain (Cubitron™ II) on vulcanized fiber fabric in a synthetic resin binder, uniform and semi-open sprinkle. The individual ceramic grains of Cubitron™ II abrasive are precisely shaped in a triangular pattern, are uniform in size and are attached vertically to the support material. The triangular grains are placed evenly but randomly on the carrier material so that each triangular grain can produce two shavings. Highly aggressive cold grinding with up to 30% faster material removal with 3 times longer life. This is only true at high belt speeds above 23 m/s when grain breakage actually occurs and high performance is guaranteed for long periods of use. At lower speeds, the belt quickly dulls, as if sealed, and does not reach the performance of the VSM belts in our range!!!
