Elmax is a powder metallurgy stainless steel from the Swedish company Udeholm. This new technology increases toughness and strength even at high hardness (59-61HRC). This gives the steel excellent cutting properties, high edge durability, strength and good toughness. The material has excellent machinability. Steel composition: C 1,7 % / Si 0,8 % / Mn 0,3 % / Cr 18,0 % / Mo 1,0 % / V 3,0 %. It is delivered in annealed condition.
