Stainless steel produced by powder metallurgy from Swedish company Udeholm

Elmax is stainless steel produced by powder metallurgy from Swedish company Udeholm. This new technology increases toughness and strength even at high hardness (59-61HRC). This gives the steel excellent cutting properties, high edge durability, strength and good toughness. The material has excellent machinability. Steel composition: C 1,7 % / Si 0,8 % / Mn 0,3 % / Cr 18,0 % / Mo 1,0 % / V 3,0 %. It is supplied in annealed condition.
