Excellent powder coated steel from Uddeholm

Elmax is a corrosion resistant steel produced by powder metallurgy by Uddeholm. This technology increases toughness and strength even at high hardness (58-61HRC). This gives the steel excellent cutting properties, high edge durability, strength and good toughness. The material has excellent machinability.

Steel is particularly suitable for boning and filleting knives because of its resistance to breakage but bushcraft and hunting knives will again appreciate the high durability and the highly drawn blade against breakage.
