Laminated steel centre K110-sides N695. The line is formed by a thin layer of nickel. The blank is hardened. Core hardness is 61 HRC. The blank can be easily ground on a belt grinder. After pulling, the surface is neutralized with a body of water and detergent and no further sanding or very fine abrasive from 5,000 grit onwards. After that, the dark K110 color and nickel ripple lines stand out beautifully.

The core is beautifully cutting and gets a reputation for easy sharpening and great edge hold as K110 steel can. The N690 plates, in turn, guarantee corrosion resistance and sandwich toughness.

Even though the sandwich is already cloudy, it is very easy to grind on a belt sander. However, it is very difficult to drill and hardened steel drills must be used.
