This pattern is suitable for all blade sizes. When sharpened, the pattern creates the impression that it is looking right at you. Hence the name of the pattern, which is linked to Viking mythology.

Corrosion-resistant Damascus steel produced using powder metallurgy by the Swedish company Damasteel AB, the price is quoted per 1mm in length. Knives made from this Damascus steel are highly prized for their distinctive appearance and for their superior mechanical strength. We harden this Damascus steel using cryogenic hardening in a vacuum.  This is a process that utilises very low temperatures, well below freezing point. The resulting hardness after tempering is 63–64 HRC.
