Corrosion resistant damask made by powder metallurgy, from Swedish company Damasteel AB, price is for 1mm length. Knives made from this damascus are highly valued for their unmistakable appearance and for their superior mechanical durability. This damascus is hardened by cryogenic vacuum hardening. This is a process that uses very low temperatures, far below freezing. The resulting hardness after tempering is 63 - 64 HRC.
