Hardened flat steel AEB-L

Steel is vacuum hardened and tempered to a hardness of 61 HRC. It can be used immediately for blade production and thus shorten the time of knife production, or catch some "burner"... Using already hardened steel also minimizes the risk of deformation of the finished blade and eliminates the need for straightening.

Stainless steel AEB-L from the Swedish company Uddeholm is characterized by good corrosion resistance and blade durability. It is widely used for surgical instruments and thin blades. It is a very popular option for kitchen knife makers. It is also widely used, as one of the few European steels, by knife makers in the USA.

This steel is only suitable for belt grinder owners and cannot be drilled with conventional drills or machined with conventional hand tools! It is very hard!
