Stainless steel suitable for springs and long blades
A stainless steel similar to AK5 steel. With appropriate heat treatment, it is also suitable for the manufacture of long blades, stainless steel springs, guards and liners for folding knives. Quenching temperature 1030–1050C in oil. 1050–1080°C in a vacuum furnace. Tempering at 100–200°C.
We harden the steel in a vacuum to 58–59 HRC
